In 2006, he joined the Casino Group, in the Real Estate Development Division, where he served as Deputy Director and discovered the still-untapped potential of the roofs and parking lots at the Group’s stores.

One year after his arrival, accompanied by Philippe Houins, the two of them created GreenYellow: An innovative company that aimed to draw value from surfaces that were going unused by the Casino Group, by locally producing photovoltaic solar power.

By expanding its client profile outside the Casino Group, GreenYellow developed very quickly, both in terms of its solutions, with Energy Efficiency and Energy Services joining decentralized photovoltaic solar, and in terms of its international presence, as the company now has locations across the globe.

Otmane Hajji’s vision for GreenYellow is simple: Enabling its clients to accelerate their energy transition, by consuming better and consuming less, with no additional investment on their part. GreenYellow has become the energy partner to businesses and local communities all over the world.
